By utilizing the physics of fluid dynamics Leviathan has created wind-, hydro-, and wave-powered products that fundamentally change the economics of investing in alternative energy technologies in these respective markets.

Management 

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Daniel Farb, has extensive management experience as a founder of one of the first e-learning companies. He has written hundreds of books and CDs on management, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals, many of which are purchased by Fortune 500 Companies. Having written over 50 patents, Dr. Farb also has the proven rare ability to combine his expertise in science, intellectual property, and writing in providing Leviathan with a solid patent portfolio.

Chief Operating Officer, Gadi Hareli, has over 25 years of experience in Hi-Tech founding companies and managing them on various levels in Business Development, Strategic Planning, Sales and Marketing, Contract Negotiations, Operations, Projects, Products, and R&D Management. Gadi was one of the first executives at Comverse during its early years as a company.

Vice President - Business Development, Joe Van Zwaren, formerly the Director of Exact Sciences at the Ministry of Science and Technology in Israel, is responsible for a number of multi-million dollar national research programs that lead to the creation of nearly fifty companies that raised over $1 billion. In 2001, the IEEE awarded him for his pioneering work in bringing Internet to Israel between 1984 and 1996, by brokering an agreement with the US National Science Foundation. Mr.Van Zwaren worked with the New England Israel Chamber of Commerce to introduce VC funding to Israel in the early nineties. Joe is also a board member of a number of professional organizations and the chief organizer of the Jerusalem Business Network Forum (JBNF), which he has personally built to over 250 members.

Vice President - R&D and Engineering, Avner Farkash, has over 20 years of experience working around the world and in developing and bringing new cost-effective technologies to market. He has worked on projects for-including but not limited to- the Israeli Ministry of Defense, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Elbit Systems. Avner's specialty is in Mechanical Engineering including Flow and Heat Transfer.

Director - Computer Modeling, Professor Moshe Rosenfeld, is a world renowned professor of engineering, and is a faculty member at the Department of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer at Tel Aviv University. One major accomplishment of his was taking part in the establishment of the Laboratory of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Biomedical Engineering. He has written extensively and actively participated in numerous publications, research grants, scientific meetings, and over 100 patents used by NASA.

Manufacturing Director, Kenneth R. Kolman, has over 35 years of experience in negotiating contracts and setting up manufacturing facilities in the Far East, South America, Europe, and the United States. He has worked on projects for-including but not limited to-Airwalk, Fila, Adidas, and Reebok, with his greatest accomplishment the formation and development of the Umbro Footwear Division, where he was General Manager from 1991-1994. Ken holds six patents, being used today in the athletic shoe industry, relating to design, development, and manufacturing processes.

 

Director of U.S. Operations, Arie Brish is an accomplished energy and technology executive and entrepreneur, experienced in leading a wide variety of organizations and business deals. Arie is the President of cxo360, an energy business consulting firm and chairman of Cleanovation 2010. Arie is also a co-founder of the Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce, and serves on its board of directors, as well as Co-Chair of its Clean-Tech Committee.

Arie led several mega sales and significant market share growth initiatives. He scaled controllers sales from $288M to $710M in four years while advancing market share from #4 to #1.

Mr. Brish holds a BSEE from Ben Gurion University, an MBA from Recanati School of Business, tel-Aviv University.
